Dad’s Garage is a pretty flexible venue, if we do say so ourselves - it includes an open-air parking lot, a first-floor lobby with a stage and A/V capabilities, a bar and concessions stand, and an upstairs 205-seat theatre. You can rent all of these things at once, just one of these things, or some other combination of these things as your heart desires! Since Wednesday—Saturday are our prime show nights, you’ll likely have the best luck asking to rent the venue Sunday—Tuesday, but anything is possible.

The Lobby
The Dad’s Garage lobby is perfect for smaller gatherings and mixers, and we do allow catering from any vendor you prefer! The lobby can fit 75 guests, not including staff - per the fire marshal - and is a flexible hosting space perfect for presentations, banquets, mixers, karaoke nights, and parties!

Use of the bar is not automatically included in a lobby rental, but we’re happy to add it if you request it. If your budget is tight, we recommend not including the bar and concessions stand in your venue package, as it is a separate charge (we have to pay the bartenders.) We can also include a dry bar at a reduced rate if your party will not be imbibing.
The Dad’s Garage bar and concessions stand includes small snacks things (popcorn, candy, etc.), soda, local drafts, and a selection of mixed drinks that rotate throughout the year. (Click here for the current menu.)

Dad’s Garage does not offer catering, but we’ll let you bring catering from wherever you want! We don’t limit who caters our space - or, if you tell us in advance, we’re happy to work with one of our local restaurant partners to feed your friends. Just let us know!
We have a separate, unseen space on the main floor where catering can set up. This includes a refrigerator, microwave, and a bathroom sink.

At your request, Dad’s Garage can provide:

The Dad’s Garage lobby includes multiple screen displays, including one located immediately to the right of the stage.
If you need a custom presentation displayed for an address to your peeps, we can arrange that (if you need a Dad’s Garage improviser to present your presentation for you, we can also do that, too.) If your presentation requires audio, we can make that happen - we’ve hosted many a karaoke night in the lobby.
Should you also rent the upstairs main stage, it is also possible for us to stream whatever is happening up there to the screens in the lobby. This is what we do for our shows, too.

If you want, the exterior of the theatre can be included as part of your experience. If your party wants to go outside and mingle, that’s fine with us. If you want to display signage outside for the duration of the event, that’s fine, too, so long as you provide it and take it with you after the event is over.
The Main Stage
Our second floor main stage is a 205-seat theatre with raked seating directed towards a big ol’ stage. Host your own live podcast, music recital, Q3 corporate meeting, or even your own one-night only live snorkeling performance. It’s a theatre stage, after all!

Two LED screens flank the main stage and, by request (and assuming we do not have a set currently occupying the space), we can provide a projector screen to drop down from the center of the stage.
The booth is capable of changing lights, operating the screen slides, and controlling audio - but we’ll have to hire someone to operate that for the duration of your event, so it is an extra cost.

If you want to provide your guests with catering, please limit it to the lobby. Please do not bring full meals upstairs.
Snacks, like those from the Dad’s Garage bar and concession stand (popcorn, packaged candy, etc.) are allowed on the main stage. We will also allow you to bring your own snacks if you do not want to purchase our concessions (ouch.)

We can absolutely accommodate large groups whether through a block of tickets, a private happy hour-and-show combo, or arranging a special kids’ show to celebrate your little one.

The second floor of the theatre includes two bathrooms, so you don’t need access to the lobby to use the loo. Whew!
The Parking Lot
Dad’s Garage has an open-air parking lot with 77 spaces located immediately next to the theatre. (We also have two additional ADA spaces in the tiny lot behind the theatre.) And sometimes, that’s all you need - a place to put your cars while you go do something else like film at a separate location, or a place to actually shoot your indie film’s action scenes.
