Dad’s Garage Diversity & Inclusivity Scholarship

As part of our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we want to make sure everyone has a chance to experience the joys of improv at Dad's Garage. We have created our Diversity and Inclusivity Scholarship for our improv classes as a way to foster these goals.

Thanks to our friends at WarnerMedia, Dad's Garage's commitment to fostering diverse voices and inclusive spaces in improv continues. We recognize that an array of experiences and perspectives makes for stronger performers and, ultimately, better comedy. We believe that our work should reflect the wide range of voices that make the United States, and our hometown of Atlanta, an awesome place to live.

We want to open the doors to improv comedy for everyone, regardless of race, gender identity, sexuality, nationality, or class. We provide a safe, uplifting environment for everyone to practice their craft and keep the Dad's Garage "family" reflecting the diversity we see in our community and our nation.

This scholarship applies to one session of all levels (1-5) of improv classes at Dad’s Garage at no cost. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please check our website for start dates of class sessions. Scholarship applications are due five weeks before the start date of a new class session, and announcements will be made approx. four weeks before class sessions start.
