The Basics

Most 8pm shows at Dad’s Garage feature two ~45min halves separated by an intermission. 10pm shows are closer to 60min. The lobby and bar will open one hour prior to the show start. We encourage patrons to arrive early to avoid bar lines and find your seat. Bar, lobby and patio typically stay open after shows, too! Make a night of it, why dontcha.

Restaurants

There are tons of great restaurants within walking distance of Dad’s Garage - we’re about a block and a half from the Edgewood entrance to The Beltline.

Krog Street Market is also within walking distance, located at 99 Krog Street. A huge selection of restaurants awaits you there. Should you choose to walk along the Beltline you’ll pass several great options, from quick eats to sit-down options perfect for date night.

The closest options are O4W Market, Planet Bombay, Lotta Frutta, The Baxter, and Shake Shack.

We’re smack in the heart of Atlanta nightlife — whether you’re partaking before or after a show, there’s plenty to enjoy nearby. From a date night to birthday celebration to anytime you need a guaranteed laugh, Dad’s Garage will help you make a night of it.

Parking

We offer free parking to our guests! You can park in our spacious lot directly across the street from the theater entrance, or on the street if there’s room. Just make sure you’re respectful of our neighbors, and keep those driveways un-blocked. We wouldn’t want anyone towing your sweet ride. And PLEASE make sure there’s nothing visible in your car - we’re not responsible for lost or stolen items, but we’d sure feel bad about it.

Driving Directions

We are located at 569 Ezzard St, Atlanta GA.

Take I-75/85 to the Freedom Parkway/Carter Center exit (#248C). Turn right onto Boulevard.

Turn left onto Edgewood Avenue and then turn right onto Bradley Street just before Thumb's up Diner. You will see a brick church on the corner of Ezzard Street -- That's us!

Public Transit

Wanna take MARTA to see us? Take the Green or Blue line Eastbound to King Memorial Station. Exit the station and head east on DeKalb Avenue/Decatur Street (the big street that changes names a million times between Downtown and Decatur) until you get to Bradley Street. Turn North on Bradley Street and we are right at the corner of Bradley and Ezzard. Huzzah!

Streetcar, you say? Take the Atlanta Streetcar to the Edgewood stop at Hillard Street. Get off and keep on walking Eastbound on Edgewood until you get to Bradley Street. Turn South, and we are at the corner of Bradley and Ezzard.

Beltline

You wanna take Atlanta’s favorite corridor to see us? We’re one block west and one (half) block south of the Edgewood ramp, and there’s a walkthrough next to The Baxter and Shake Shack to get you to Ezzard St. We’re extremely, extremely close, is what we’re saying!

Bike

Whether you are coming from East or West, take the bike path on Edgewood Avenue until you get to Bradley Street. Head South on Bradley Street until you get to the corner of Ezzard, and there we are! We have secure bike posts located out front near our patio.

Accessibility

Both levels of Dad's Garage are ADA accessible. Two entrances on our top level (where our stage is) have ramp access, and the sidewalks leading into our main floor (where our bar is) also have wheelchair accessible entries. We also have an elevator to assist patrons between each floor. ADA accessible restrooms are located on both floors.

Handicap-permit parking is available in the lot behind our building. When driving down Bradley street, make a left into the driveway behind Dad's Garage (instead of making a right into our big parking lot), and you will see the spaces immediately after turning into the lot. Ramp access into the upper level of the building is near these spaces.

Refreshments and Snacks

We've got a great bar full of local beer and spirits, and great deals on wine too! No need to pre-game, because we keep our prices affordable so you can enjoy a full night out at Dad's Garage. Most of our draft beer is local, and we love a Tip Top Proper Cocktail! We have delicious hot, fresh popcorn, plus candy, popsicles and snacks!
