Classes for Adults
Whether you want to break in as a performer, improve your public speaking skills, boost your confidence in business and social situations, perfect your comedy craft, or just meet new people and have fun, our classes are a perfect place to get started! At Dad’s Garage, we offer eight-week class sessions for improv, stand up, sketch writing, and even burlesque!
As part of our efforts to foster diverse voices and inclusive spaces in improv, we also offer scholarships for all levels of our improv classes.
Workshops for Adults
In addition to our class offerings, Dad’s Garage offers one-off workshops and specialty classes from our ensemble, guest instructors, industry insiders, and specialists at their creative comedy craft. From writing to acting for the stage and screen and beyond, our workshops offer exciting, one-of-a-kind opportunities for development.
For Kids & Teens
Summer Camps for Kids and Teens
Dad’s Garage kids’ summer camps are open to grades 3-7, and teen camps are open to grades 7-12!
Campers learn the basics of improv, how to use the power of “yes, and” to strengthen communication skills, collaboratively tell stories, and have fun! These week-long camps run from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and culminate in an improv show for families and friends each Friday.
We also offer limited scholarships for our kids’ camps.
Workshops for Kids and Teens
From topics like acting on stage, screen, or even for social media—or writing for any of these formats, our workshops offer special opportunities for aspiring young performers and creatives to polish their skills.
